The role coordinates individualized treatment and follow-up with oncology and other specialties and contributes to tumor boards, quality improvement, patient education, and program development.
What you'll do
- Provide outpatient hematology and oncology care
- diagnose and manage solid tumors, hematologic malignancies, and benign hematologic disorders
- oversee infusion therapies
- perform limited inpatient consultations as needed
- participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary conferences
- coordinate care with other specialties
- develop treatment plans and follow-up
- review imaging, pathology, and labs
- document in the EHR
- engage in quality improvement, patient education, and program development.
