What you'll do

• Learn tree climbing and progressively develop tree-crew skills
• learn tree identification and industry pruning guidelines
• prune, thin, and remove deadwood
• learn to install cables, bracing, and lightning protection systems
• assist with hazardous tree removal
• maintain, prepare, and operate chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts, and other equipment
• complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program and required First Aid, CPR, and defensive driving courses upon hire.
