Hotel Maintenance & Facilities Technician — Second Shift

The Hotel Maintenance & Facilities Technician role is onsite in Detroit, MI, with a 3:00 PM–11:00 PM second shift that includes weekends and holidays. Pay is $24 per hour. The role supports Hotel Indigo Detroit’s Engineering Department and guest experience. The technician keeps the property safe and functional by responding to guest maintenance requests, completing repairs and preventive maintenance, and identifying safety or maintenance concerns throughout the building and parking areas.

What you'll do

• Respond to guest maintenance requests
• perform repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, painting, wall covering, and carpentry
• execute and document preventive maintenance
• keep equipment, work areas, and logs organized
• patrol the property and report unsafe conditions or suspicious activity
• cross-train with fellow Engineers.
