The Residential Specialist II, Transitional Supervised Apartment Program — First Shift role is onsite in Danbury, CT, Tuesday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Pay is $20.60 per hour. Mental Health Connecticut partners with individuals, families, and communities to support long-term health and wellness. The role provides and documents direct services for adults recovering from chronic mental health and co-occurring conditions, supporting their recovery plans and ability to function in the community. Responsibilities include supervision, life-skills support, coordination with providers and community agencies, referrals, and maintaining confidential records.

What you'll do

  • Engage residents in programs and activities
  • supervise the assigned program site and support resident safety
  • coordinate with therapists, referral sources, and community agencies
  • implement and document Individual Recovery Plans, including activities-of-daily-living and basic life-skills support
  • connect residents with community resources
  • maintain confidential charts and communicate concerns to supervisors
  • provide coverage when necessary
  • assist with entitlements.
