The Human Resources Generalist role is onsite in Richland, WA, with pay of $28.00–$34.50 per hour. Generational Care is a nonprofit dedicated to preserving and enhancing quality of life through home care, meal delivery, nutrition assistance, and healthy-aging programs. The role provides broad, hands-on HR support across employee relations, recruitment, benefits, leave, compliance, HR systems, and daily operations. It helps employees and supervisors resolve HR matters while improving processes and supporting the organization’s workforce and services.

What you'll do

• Advise employees and supervisors on HR policies and matters
• support employee relations, investigations, corrective actions, and documentation
• coordinate recruitment and onboarding
• track leaves and accommodations
• coordinate workers’ compensation, return-to-work, safety, and unemployment matters
• support benefits and compensation administration
• maintain employee records and HRIS data
• prepare and analyze reports
• develop procedures and training resources
• manage assigned projects and support audits and compliance initiatives.
