What you'll do

• Provide direct care and continuous monitoring for adult PCU patients
• manage telemetry
• administer medications and IV therapies, including insulin and cardiac drips
• start IVs
• monitor post-cardiac catheterization patients
• collaborate on care plans
• respond to deterioration
• participate in bedside rounds
• document in the electronic medical record
• float to higher-acuity units as required.
