The Lathe Machinist – Defense Components role is onsite in Hudson, MA, with pay of $23–$30 per hour. The machinist operates engine and large lathes to produce components to specified dimensions and tolerances. The role also programs or edits Mazatrol operations and inspects machined parts to ensure they meet quality standards, contributing to defense manufacturing requirements.

What you'll do

• Operate engine and large lathes to machine components including castings, forgings, plates, bars, and custom parts
• perform precision operations to meet dimensions and tolerances
• program and edit lathe operations using Mazatrol controls
• inspect components with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.
