The Toolmaker / Machinist role is onsite in Troy, IL, with compensation of $30–$40 per hour. SR Precision Holdings LLC designs, manufactures, and repairs blow molds and operates precision machining, tooling, and gage brands. The machinist produces tight-tolerance components for precision assemblies by setting up and operating manual shop equipment. Accurate machining, inspection, and documentation support the company’s precision manufacturing work.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate manual lathes, jig grinders, surface grinders, mills, and related equipment
• machine parts to close tolerances
• interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions
• measure and inspect parts with precision equipment
• calculate dimensions, angles, and fits
• maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finishes
• keep the work area safe and organized
• document inspections.
