Job overview
The Urgent Care Physician role is onsite at urgent care centers in the west St. Louis area; compensation is subject to negotiation. The hospital-owned centers serve families in St. Louis and St. Charles counties and have provided care for more than 30 years. The physician provides urgent care in a team setting with physicians, nurse practitioners, nurse managers, and registered nurses. The assignment is open to board-certified or board-eligible physicians in family medicine, internal medicine/pediatrics, or emergency medicine with pediatric experience, with flexible hours and shifts.
What you'll do
- Provide physician coverage at urgent care centers
- work with nurse managers and registered nurses, with nurse practitioner double coverage available at select locations
- use onsite outpatient lab and X-ray services as available.
