Lead Substation Engineer

The Lead Substation Engineer is an onsite role based in Baltimore, MD, with a salary range of $107,900 to $195,050 per year. This position supports the Leidos Power Delivery Services Team, which provides critical engineering expertise to utility and telecommunication clients nationwide. The role focuses on the full project lifecycle for substation physical and protection and control (P&C) designs. The engineer will perform quality control checks, develop technical drawings, manage project documentation, and ensure all designs comply with National Electrical Safety Code standards and client requirements.

What you'll do

• Execute substation physical and P&C projects, perform quality control checks, design one-line and three-line drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams, create bills of materials, and provide project lifecycle support from scoping to implementation.
