The Clinical Dietitian (PRN) role is onsite in Delta, CO. Compensation is not specified. The dietitian supports patient care throughout Delta Health and collaborates with medical staff, nursing, pharmacy, and Nutrition Services. The role assesses patients’ nutritional needs and provides nutrition support and education to help deliver quality, individualized care. It also supports therapeutic menus, meal coordination, and enteral and parenteral nutrition services.

What you'll do

• Complete and document nutrition assessments and consultations in the EMR
• review and approve regular and therapeutic diet menus
• coordinate meals and snacks for nutritional, cultural, and religious needs
• support enteral and parenteral nutrition services
• provide nutrition education to patients, staff, and the community
• collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
