What you'll do

• Administer server systems through physical inspection and review of application logs and system consoles
• investigate warnings, errors, and reported issues
• develop action plans and document, test, and implement solutions
• respond to requests and incidents in the problem-management queue
• coordinate support and repairs with vendors and onsite personnel
• implement server systems using documented plans and change controls
• mentor and train technicians
• maintain process documentation
• recommend support-service improvements
• plan implementations and provide biweekly project status updates.
