Senior Structures Test Engineer

The Senior Structures Test Engineer role is onsite in Long Beach, CA. Compensation is $124,000–$186,000 per year. Relativity Space is developing the Terran R launch vehicle, and the Factory Test team designs, builds, and operates test assets. The engineer owns structural test infrastructure projects across the engineering lifecycle, from requirements and design through fabrication, installation, commissioning, and operation, supporting safe and effective testing of structural systems.

What you'll do

• Own design and analysis of static or dynamic test stands, supporting structures, pressure systems, and mechanical hardware
• develop requirements, system architectures, drawings, technical approaches, and documentation for fabrication, installation, procurement, and commissioning
• review technical work and address structural and operational hazards
• support assembly, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and operation of test infrastructure, including hands-on hardware work.

Why this role
