Dive Supervisor

Job overview

The Dive Supervisor role is onsite in Galveston, TX, with compensation of $32–$40 per hour. The supervisor reports to the Diving Operations Manager and oversees commercial diving operations for T&T Marine Salvage. The role plans and directs diving operations while protecting the health and safety of the dive team. It ensures operations follow applicable regulations and company safe-practice procedures, and that teams, equipment, emergency plans, and records are prepared and maintained.

What you'll do

• Plan and direct diving operations
• ensure regulatory and company safety requirements are followed
• inspect and verify diving equipment
• brief and assign dive-team members
• establish dive plans and emergency procedures
• monitor diver communications and profiles
• terminate dives when safety conditions require
• check divers after dives
• maintain required logs and reports.
