What you'll do

• Prepare meals, including modified textures for restricted and therapeutic diets
• supervise dietary aides in food preparation and service
• follow Dining Services Director instructions and meal schedules
• prepare food to conserve nutrition and flavor
• ensure food is palatable and appropriate to residents’ needs
• follow food safety, sanitation, and infection-control practices
• document food and storage temperatures
• assist with special events and theme meals
• open and close the kitchen
• attend required training and meetings.
