Compensation is $31 per hour. The Heavy Diesel Fleet Mechanic is an onsite role based in White City, OR. This role exists to ensure the reliability and safety of the company's heavy vehicle fleet. The mechanic performs diagnostic testing, routine maintenance, and major repairs on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components to keep operations running smoothly.

What you'll do

• Inspects and repairs vehicles with diesel engines
• handles routine repairs including oil and tire changes
• performs major repairs on A/C, hydraulics, electrical, welding, and engine components
• interprets diagnostic test results
• writes inspection reports
• collaborates with other mechanics
• completes test drives
• maintains a clean, safe work area.
