What you'll do

• Lead daily accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and financial reporting
• supervise and develop one to two accounting staff
• lead month-, quarter-, and year-end close
• review journal entries and supporting schedules
• oversee bank, warehouse line, escrow, and other balance-sheet reconciliations
• support mortgage funding, servicing, commissions, secondary-market transactions, and investor reporting
• analyze results and variances
• support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, audits, and regulatory examinations
• ensure compliance and drive process improvements.
