Laboratory Manager

What you'll do

• Oversee specimen collection, processing, testing, result reporting, and daily workflow
• maintain laboratory policies, procedures, quality control, quality assurance, and proficiency testing
• review documentation and resolve discrepancies and equipment issues
• maintain CLIA records and coordinate inspections and audits
• ensure applicable CLIA, OSHA, HIPAA, safety, and accreditation compliance
• train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate staff
• oversee the Download Department, including A1C testing and pump/CGM downloads
• manage equipment, supplies, vendors, LIS coordination, and reference-laboratory relationships
• participate in budgeting and monitor expenses and productivity.
