Inpatient Admissions Coordinator

The Inpatient Admissions Coordinator role is onsite in Fall River, MA. Compensation is $25 per hour, and the schedule is Monday–Friday, 1 p.m.–9 p.m. The role supports SSTAR’s ATS-Detox unit, which provides medically monitored detoxification and stabilization. The coordinator leads the admissions process to support safe, timely, and compliant intake, patient safety, census management, and continuity of care. The role connects referral sources and internal clinical and operational teams while maintaining accurate intake and admission records.

What you'll do

• Receive, triage, and respond to ATS and CSS referrals
• collect and verify intake, insurance, and authorization information and enter data into NextGen
• monitor bed availability, waiting lists, and admission flow
• communicate decisions and expectations
• collaborate with nursing, admissions staff, and program leadership
• coordinate paperwork and track census and admission trends
• coordinate insurance authorizations and benefit explanations
• maintain referral resource lists
• complete documentation and report safety or compliance concerns.
