Medication Aide — SIC

Job overview

The Medication Aide — SIC role is onsite in Edenton, NC. Pay is $13–$20 per hour. The position supports the clinical team and residents at Edenton House. The aide administers and documents prescribed medications, monitors residents for medication-related effects or changes in condition, and provides individualized support with personal care and daily activities. The role contributes to resident safety and well-being by following facility policies and applicable medication protocols and coordinating with the healthcare team.

What you'll do

• Administer prescribed medications with correct dosage, timing, and documentation
• provide individualized care for residents with specific medical needs, including personal care and activities of daily living
• maintain medication records
• report adverse reactions or medication errors to the supervising nurse
• monitor residents for side effects or changes in condition
• store and handle medications safely
• collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
• and follow medication-administration regulations and safety protocols.
