Job overview

The Print-on-Demand Digital Print Operator role is onsite in Gettysburg, PA, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and a half-hour unpaid lunch. Pay is $19–$23 per hour. The operator produces printed communication materials for GRAPHCOM Inc. The role turns incoming print orders and files into finished products by preparing files, operating digital presses and finishing equipment, checking quality, and completing order processing. It also supports fulfillment while maintaining safety, confidentiality, and production standards.

What you'll do

• Receive and prioritize files from Pre-Media, order entry, or project management
• prepare files for printing, including size, color, and image adjustments
• operate digital presses and finishing equipment
• process orders from acceptance or entry through delivery, including bindery, shrink-wrap, and packaging
• calibrate color machines and check for quality defects
• maintain consumable inventory
• assist with kitting and fulfillment
• verify sensitive job quantities and records
• perform basic file imposition
• follow procedures for disposal of PHI or PII
• coordinate with contracted technicians on machinery troubleshooting
• follow plant safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
