• Serve as day-to-day client contact
• assign, supervise, and review engagement work and manage timely billing
• handle complex tax returns and delegate and train tax preparers
• technically review and approve returns
• communicate engagement progress and expectations

• respond to federal and state tax notices
• supervise, evaluate, and develop staff
• support recruiting and professional development
• manage tax research and documentation
• communicate complex tax issues to clients
• translate data into client-ready insights
• participate in practice development and community and industry activities.

Why this role
