What you'll do

• Perform high-complexity clinical laboratory tests in one or more laboratory sections
• receive, process, and prepare specimens
• prepare specimens for transport
• operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
• implement quality control and validate results
• follow safety, infection control, CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA requirements
• prepare biological waste for disposal
• communicate test information
• manage inventory and assist with training
• perform phlebotomy services.

Why this role

Requires an accredited medical laboratory technician training program or acceptable equivalent, an associate’s degree or certificate in a relevant laboratory field, current BLS, ASCP or AMT registration/certification, and at least one year of recent post-graduation experience.
