Material Handler – Mid Shift

The Material Handler – Mid Shift role is onsite in Green Cove Springs, FL, and pays $19 per hour. The position supports U.S. Lumber Group, part of Specialty Building Products, a distributor serving customers across the United States and Canada. The handler moves, sorts, inspects, and stages lumber and other building materials for storage and shipment. Accurate inventory records, equipment operation, safe work practices, and coordination with drivers and warehouse staff help maintain reliable yard and shipping operations.

What you'll do

• Pick up, move, stack, and load or unload lumber and building materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand tools
• inspect and sort lumber by grade and size
• record quantities and label products
• verify deliveries against purchase orders
• operate and maintain yard equipment and maintenance logs
• keep yard and storage areas clean and hazard-free
• follow safety procedures and use required PPE
• coordinate with truck drivers and warehouse staff.
