DESE Research supports the Missile Defense Agency in system design and requirements activities for the Missile Defense System. As part of the System Engineering & Integration Team, the engineer leads cross-functional systems engineering work on system-level architecture, requirements, and interfaces. The role uses model-based systems engineering to assess architectural impacts and coordinate technical products and specification changes.

What you'll do

• Lead cross-functional systems engineering teams
• support system architecture, requirements, and interfaces
• use model-based systems engineering for functional behavior analysis
• develop and coordinate changes to system specifications
• develop technical products and briefings
• support internal and MDA stakeholder reviews.
