The Senior Superintendent / General Superintendent role is onsite in Bethesda, MD, with local and regional travel throughout the DMV Region. Base salary is $90,000–$150,000 annually; General Superintendent compensation may reach $175,000 based on experience and qualifications. The role leads field execution for complex construction projects. The superintendent coordinates safety, quality, schedules, subcontractors, staffing, and site operations from mobilization through closeout, working with project managers and teams to deliver projects in accordance with schedule, budget, and contract requirements.

What you'll do

• Lead daily onsite construction operations through closeout
• enforce safety requirements
• coordinate subcontractors, field personnel, deliveries, inspections, equipment, and logistics
• partner with the Project Manager on goals, staffing, and execution
• maintain schedules and monitor manpower, materials, and subcontractor performance
• review drawings and contract documents
• maintain quality control
• lead preparatory meetings
• coordinate permits, inspections, commissioning, punch lists, and closeout
• maintain as-built records and manage field costs
• communicate with project stakeholders
• mentor field team members.
