Technician II, Pet Pilot Lab

The Technician II, Pet Pilot Lab is an onsite, full-time role based in Lakeville, MN, with an hourly pay range of $26.89 to $36.57. This position supports the Research & Development team at Post Consumer Brands by assisting in the development of new pet food products. This role exists to provide technical support and project management within the pilot plant and laboratory environments. The technician is responsible for conducting experimental designs, performing chemical and physical testing, and ensuring all food safety and quality practices are followed during product development.

What you'll do

• Responsible for the maintenance and development of assigned products
• manages projects to meet timelines and cost parameters. Participates in the development, scale-up, and production of new and improved pet food products or treats. Operates pilot plant/laboratory equipment in a consistent and accurate manner. Conducts experimental designs under direct supervision. Compiles, analyzes, and summarizes data into report form. Supports and/or conducts plant tests, packaging projects, or production trials. Obtains samples and technical information about products. Conducts routine and non-routine laboratory evaluations of products (chemical, physical, and sensory testing). Maintains complete records of procedures followed, observations, and results.
