The Metal Stamping Die Maker and Jig/Fixture Craftsman role is onsite in La Vergne, TN, and pays $27–$33 per hour. The craftsman builds, repairs, and maintains dies, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and machine components to support production performance. Interpreting technical drawings, machining to precise dimensions, and improving tooling help ensure parts and processes meet specifications.

What you'll do

• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and models
• plan materials and machining sequences
• set up and operate lathes, mills, shapers, and grinders
• construct, repair, alter, and maintain tooling and machine components
• calculate dimensions and machine and assemble parts
• verify alignment, clearances, and conformance to drawings
• examine tooling and propose design improvements
• advise colleagues on complex setups and methods.
