The VDC Designer / Coordinator (On-Site) role is based onsite at Superior’s headquarters in Columbus, OH. The pay range is $42–$55 per hour, with overtime eligibility. The position supports projects in data centers, higher education, healthcare, enterprise, and industrial sectors. The role develops and reviews electrical layouts, installation drawings, and building information modeling (BIM) materials to support project execution. It coordinates with Project Operations and contributes to quality reviews and department standards so project documentation aligns with contract requirements and construction practices.

What you'll do

• Prepare 2D layout drawings for BIM modeling or field installation
• produce field installation and prefabrication drawings
• generate panel pull sheets with circuitry and wire information
• review project drawings, specifications, and submittals
• coordinate with Project Operations on submittals and discrepancies
• conduct quality assurance and quality control reviews of installation drawings and BIM models
• support development of department BIM/Layout standards
• participate in BIM coordination and technical committee meetings.
