The Direct Support Professional role is onsite in Ellington, CT, with 16 weekly hours scheduled Sunday and Monday from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Pay is $18.46 per hour. The role supports clients’ daily living, safety, independence, and community participation by carrying out individualized care plans and assisting with personal care, medication, meals, and activities. It contributes to clients’ personal goals and quality of life while coordinating with families and care providers.

What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal preparation
• administer medications, monitor vital signs, and support medical appointments
• perform light housekeeping and laundry
• engage clients in social activities, community outings, and choice-making
• use mobility equipment such as Hoyer lifts
• document activities, observations, and incidents
• maintain HIPAA confidentiality
• implement individualized care plans.
