Teller / Customer Service Representative

Job overview

The Teller / Customer Service Representative role is onsite in Des Moines, IA. Compensation is $17 per hour. The role serves Premier Credit Union members at Des Moines metro locations and is scheduled Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:15 p.m., with every other Saturday from 9 a.m.–12 p.m. The representative supports branch operations by processing routine transactions accurately, responding to member questions, and maintaining cash-drawer controls. The role also helps members understand credit union products and services and connects them with additional support when needed.

What you'll do

• Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, and account inquiries accurately
• greet members and respond to questions or concerns
• maintain cash-drawer accuracy and follow balancing, security, and compliance procedures
• educate members about products and services and make referrals
• support daily branch operations and team workflow
• communicate with members by phone, live teller machines, email, text, and secure messaging
• participate in training and development.
