What you'll do

• Prepare the clinic for opening by reviewing the facility, opening systems, and preparing registration packets
• greet patients and collect paperwork, insurance, and identification
• register patients, update records, verify insurance, and check patients out
• determine and process payments and address billing issues
• assist with follow-up appointments and documentation requests
• balance daily charges
• complete closing reports and cash-control procedures
• maintain accurate documentation.
