What you'll do

• Prepare food according to menus and standardized recipes under the food services director
• ensure proper preparation, portioning, and serving
• follow safety and sanitation standards
• prepare meals at specified times
• respond to dining-room concerns
• follow cleaning schedules
• clean and store dishes, utensils, and equipment
• label and date stored food
• handle food to prevent contamination and reduce cost
• suggest menu or recipe changes to use leftovers and supplies.
