What you'll do

• Install, wire, commission, troubleshoot, and service residential and light-commercial electrical systems
• install and service standby generators and transfer switches
• follow NEC requirements, manufacturer specifications, and local codes
• diagnose problems and determine repairs
• perform preventive maintenance and warranty service
• interpret diagrams and schematics
• verify generator sizing and connections
• work with natural-gas and propane systems
• assist with startup, testing, commissioning, and customer orientation
• document service
• coordinate with permitting, inspection, and project personnel
• follow safety procedures and maintain an organized job site.
