Medical Biller

Job overview

The Medical Biller role is onsite in Chico, CA, and pays $20 per hour. It contributes to timely revenue-cycle work through accurate records, follow-up, and coordination with staff and physicians.

What you'll do

• Process private and commercial billings and correspondence
• monitor unbilled, denied, rejected, aging, and delinquent insurance accounts
• research and correct denied or rejected claims and submit appeals as needed
• post insurance and patient payments and denials
• review unapplied accounts and process refunds
• communicate with patients about account questions
• send statements, arrange payment agreements, conduct eligibility checks, and participate in billing and company meetings.
