The Middle-Level Cartographic Analyst, Production role is 100% onsite in Springfield, VA. Compensation is $80,000–$95,000 per year. The analyst supports a federal geospatial intelligence mission at NGA-Wash (NCE). The analyst produces and reviews geospatial products and data used for mission planning, policy decisions, and operational requirements. GIS production, cartographic analysis, and data management support human geography and nautical chart mission work.

What you'll do

• Produce human geography products, including attributed data, maps, and written reports
• perform cartographic and GIS analysis using multiple data sources
• extract and analyze features from rasterized nautical charts, hydrographic survey data, and ortho-rectified imagery
• perform GIS production, data management, data conflation, and quality assurance
• support Digital Nautical Chart and Electronic Nautical Chart conversion, production, and review
• support Human Geography data acquisition, management, and dissemination.
