The Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Developmental Disabilities role is onsite in Milford, OH. Compensation is $18 per hour. Beulah Home Care supports people with intellectual or developmental disabilities in building independence and self-directed lives. The DSP helps individuals develop daily living skills and provides personal assistance, health and safety support, and community participation. The role also implements individualized support plans and communicates with families, case managers, and medical professionals to promote consistent care.

What you'll do

• Teach daily living skills such as cooking, laundry, housecleaning, and personal hygiene
• provide personal assistance with eating, mobility, transfers, and grooming as needed
• administer or monitor medication and track health concerns
• plan and prepare meals for dietary needs
• support safety and report suspected abuse or neglect
• facilitate community participation and transportation
• document care and progress
• implement individualized support plans
• collaborate with families, case managers, and medical professionals.
