Job overview

The Floating Maintenance Technician role is an in-person position based in Seattle, WA, with a Tuesday–Saturday schedule from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Compensation is $29–$32 per hour. Thrive Communities manages properties and aims to elevate residents’ living experiences through property management. The technician provides maintenance coverage at Thrive properties during busy periods, vacancies, and team-member absences. The role completes repairs and unit turns, supports preventive maintenance, and works with property teams to maintain safe, well-kept communities.

What you'll do

  • Perform unit turns and work orders
  • schedule and complete routine preventive maintenance
  • diagnose and perform minor or routine repairs
  • maintain grounds and property appearance
  • inspect and coordinate make-ready repairs
  • communicate with leasing staff and managers
  • follow safety requirements
  • respond to after-hours emergencies as needed
  • travel to various Washington locations.
