Operations Manager – Commercial Roofing

The Operations Manager – Commercial Roofing role is an onsite, full-time leadership position in San Antonio, TX, with a base salary of $100,000–$125,000 per year depending on experience. The role is with an established commercial roofing and building-envelope contractor with an existing team, systems, and active projects. The manager leads operations across multiple projects, coordinating project managers, superintendents, and field teams to support safe, timely, and financially sound delivery. The role also develops people, strengthens processes, and supports the contractor’s continued growth in San Antonio.

What you'll do

• Lead day-to-day commercial roofing operations across active projects
• mentor project managers, superintendents, and field leaders
• oversee projects from handoff through completion
• monitor schedules, staffing, production, and profitability
• review financials, budgets, costs, and performance
• ensure teams have labor, equipment, and resources
• coordinate with estimating, project management, safety, and executive leadership
• maintain safety, quality, and accountability standards
• resolve operational issues
• build relationships with contractors, owners, and clients
• support workforce planning and develop future leaders.
