What you'll do

• Lead clinical operations and management of the Med/Surg unit.
• Coordinate shift operations by making assignments, coordinating care, resolving issues, serving as a resource nurse, participating in staffing decisions, rounding on patients, and maintaining TJC compliance.
• Long-range responsibilities include employee evaluations, corrective action, business and budget planning, and performance improvement.

Why this role

Requires Texas RN licensure or qualifying compact licensure, completion of education necessary to obtain a BSN within four years of hire, BLS within 14 days of hire or transfer and before direct patient care, ACLS upon hire, and at least one year of Med/Surg hospital experience. Charge or relief-charge experience is preferred.
