What you'll do

• Design complex subassemblies and product modules according to design intent and applicable standards
• assess effects on related subsystems, parts, and assemblies
• support prototype and pilot builds and occasional customer-order work
• support product improvement and cost-out opportunities
• provide design support to assigned NPI teams
• estimate assignment scope and effort and maintain work records
• collaborate with designers and engineers
• design for product variations while minimizing part count and cost
• periodically travel to manufacturing facilities for prototype or pilot assembly support.
