The Security Officer, Overnight role is onsite in Wheeling, IL. Pay is $19 per hour. The position protects guests, employees, and property at the Westin Chicago North Shore while maintaining a visible presence that helps guests feel comfortable and safe. The officer monitors hotel activity, responds to incidents and alarms, and assists guests and employees as needed. The role also supports hotel operations through patrols, incident documentation, dispatch, and selected guest-service tasks.

What you'll do

• Maintain attendance and hotel standards
• keep in contact with the Front Desk/Night Auditor
• maintain activity logs and confidentiality
• check identification and open secured areas for authorized personnel
• check lights and locks, investigate accidents or theft, respond to complaints and alarms, monitor CCTV, conduct rounds, assist during medical emergencies, administer first aid/CPR as necessary, complete incident reports, answer phones and dispatch, and perform listed guest-service and shipping/receiving duties.
