The Transportation Certified Nursing Assistant role is onsite in Junction City, KS. Pay is $19 per hour, with a $2,000 full-time sign-on bonus. Tallgrass Healthcare Campus is an elder care community providing post-hospital rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing care. The role coordinates and carries out safe resident transportation while supporting nursing care as assigned. It helps residents access transportation safely and contributes to their care through observation, communication, and assistance with daily activities when needed.

What you'll do

• Inspect facility vehicles before the first transportation each shift
• assist with routine vehicle maintenance
• ensure residents are safely secured and transported in accordance with vehicle codes and facility guidelines
• coordinate transportation requests with departments
• report changes in resident condition to the nurse and supervisor
• and, as needed, assist residents with transfers, positioning, and activities of daily living.
