What you'll do

• Review high-dollar facility itemized bills and corresponding claim forms line by line
• identify and document potential billing errors
• compare charges with payor contracts and industry guidelines
• apply CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, and MS-DRG knowledge to validate codes
• review claims under specified reimbursement scenarios
• document findings, savings, policy violations, and recommended adjustments
• refine audit processes and tools
• advise stakeholders on billing, coding, and payor policies
• identify payment issues and remediation steps
• respond to inquiries and disputes
• recommend reimbursement policy language
• provide training as needed
• support escalated research and root-cause analysis.
