What you'll do

• Assess and reassess patients, prioritize data collection, and communicate findings and recommendations
• develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
• perform ordered treatments and nursing interventions
• educate patients and families
• document assessments, responses, and progress
• initiate emergency resuscitative measures under adult protocols
• report patient conditions and respond to changes
• prepare patients and families for discharge
• delegate and supervise non-licensed personnel as appropriate
• participate in quality improvement activities.
