What you'll do

• Coordinate bed management and placement requests
• maintain real-time awareness of admissions, transfers, discharges, and bed availability
• evaluate admission requests and level of care using InterQual criteria
• collaborate to resolve delays and improve patient flow
• communicate with physicians about bed requests and documentation
• coordinate staffing readiness
• work with Care Management on discharge recommendations
• serve as a liaison among stakeholders
• act as Administrator on Duty in the absence of nursing leadership
• prepare reports and participate in quality improvement.
