What you'll do

• Complete a volume-appropriate route
• stay informed about facility clearance
• maintain communication with dispatch
• train new phlebotomists when no area trainer is designated
• attend facility start-up in-services as appropriate
• conduct quarterly trunk checks
• account for route sheets
• keep mileage entries current in Datarrive
• update next-day assignments
• assist with supply orders and closing orders when no other designee is available
• assist with centrifuge and butterfly logs when no other designee is available
• work cooperatively with laboratory dispatch, courier dispatch, couriers, accessioning, customer service, and data entry.
