The role maintains accurate and organized records, handles information requests and complex documentation, and helps prepare paper records and workflows for a future electronic health record system.

What you'll do

• Assemble, analyze, file, scan, and process medical records
• track chart deficiencies and follow up
• handle release-of-information requests, subpoenas, court orders, and requests involving minors
• prepare leadership reports
• ensure records are ready for surveys and regulatory review
• map workflows, inventory paper records, and plan for scanning and indexing.
