The OB Hospitalist Physician is an onsite role in Montgomery, AL. Compensation is not specified. The physician joins an obstetrical hospitalist clinical team supporting labor and delivery care. The physician also assists community physicians and midwives when requested and safely available.

What you'll do

• Provide obstetrical and gynecological care, including contraceptive services at hospitals that offer them
• deliver direct care to high-risk patients
• participate in daily Labor and Delivery board rounds
• serve as Labor and Delivery Safety Officer
• and provide clinical assistance or practice coverage to community physicians and midwives as requested and safely available. Shifts are primarily 24 hours, with some 12-hour or mixed-shift models
• full-time clinicians typically work 59 24-hour shifts per 28-day block.
