Shipping/Receiving Lead – Production Department

Job overview

The Shipping/Receiving Lead – Production Department role is onsite in Osseo, Minnesota. Compensation is $25–$32 per hour. States Manufacturing produces electrical power distribution equipment. The lead supports department productivity, quality, delivery, and safety by coordinating work with the Production Supervisor and other team managers. The role spends approximately 80% of the workday on production activities and helps train employees and direct departmental work.

What you'll do

• Coordinate and prioritize job assignments with the Supervisor and other Leads
• assist with employee training on safety and department procedures
• ensure adherence to standardized work and communicate updates
• monitor quality and report non-conformances
• track defects, scrap, and lost time
• maintain a clean and safe work area
• enforce PPE and OSHA compliance
• support process improvements and cost-saving opportunities
• lead by example and promote teamwork.
